Xlt Cold

i have a 1995 ranger xlt single cab short bed 3.0 v6. i want to add some performace things to improve fuel mi.?

and i want to add horse. soooo i already have a k n air filter and oil filter on and i want to put a cold air intake but cant find one to fit so what should i do on that. next is the throttle body spacer and lastly is a magnaflow catalytic converter reason for just the converter is i don't wanna spend the money on duals or anything. so i just wanna know how much hp and fuel mi increase to expect. and will it sound good too. if you could help me out its greatly appreciated thanks alot.

The best thing to add hp and better mileage at the same time is to change the pistons to pop ups. This will incress the compression with out changing the rest of the engine. The open port exhaust will help a lot as well. As for just bolt on for better mileage parts there is very few that will help. You can change the chip in the computer to help on mileage as well.
