After 6 years on oxycontin is there hope for her?
My girlfriend was in a bad wreck 7 yrs ago & she nearly died. she went into a coma, shattered her leg, has perm intestional problems, & among a list of other injuries & after a long painful recovery including physical thearapy & several operations to reconstruct her leg with pins plates & screws.she has done very well she is very strong willed & although i didnt know her @ the time of the accident, i am sure thats why she survived. now 7 yrs later & after the doctors used her as a guinea pig pumping her full of meds.for 6 yrs @ 1 point 13 different kinds a day, shes been off them for 1.5 yrs now shes REAL moody, & gets depressed to the point of wanting to check out.. ive never seen anything like it. i pray for pms to mellow her out each month so i am needing to know if this is the result of the pills? she has had a past that would make alot of people give up & i am aware that could alot of it but without knowing about meds i need to see if the side effects are poss to blame ? thx
my opinion is that her system is clean of drugs at this point, since you didn't state she was taking anything. She sounds like she should seek treatment maybe for ptsd which is post traumatic stress disorder, which can cause allot of mood swings for various reasons good luck
