Wheels Navigation
What kind of car is the best for your first?
i wanted a honda crv, but i don't think i like it all that much. it's my first car, and i need it to be something like the crv, with four Wheel Drive, good gas mileage, and possible a navigation system. the navigation system isn't necessary, since i could always purchase one. cuteness is a good thing too, haha. i don't really know cars, so i could really use the help.
Have you looked at the Chevrolet Equinox? Much nicer than the CRV and other CUV's in that class (Small/Compact). It's gotten great reviews from every car publication. Many have praised its interior and exterior quality/styling (though your mileage may vary). GM makes another version for GMC called Terrain. But in my opinion the Equinox would be the "cuter" one as Terrain has more of a truck-like/brawny appearance.
In All-Wheel Drive equipped models with a 4 cylinder engine you can expect 20mpg city and 29mpg highway. If you go with just Front-Wheel-Drive models you can expect 22mpg city and 32mpg highway. (A Honda CRV 4 cylinder with AWD gets 21mpg city and 27mpg highway)
The Equinox can be equipped with an in-dash navigation system. Or if you opt for a model without navigation, you can still have it via OnStar's Direction and Connections service (no map, but it has voice readouts/dashboard prompts, and you can tell the operator exactly where you want to go).
Here's one of many reviews for the Equinox.
