Well Kept
How is it such a well kept secret that union workers salaries are based on Minimum wage?
all the talk about how the poor will make more money, you would think it would be common knowledge that the union workers will be getting upwards of a 40% raise based on their contracts.
also dues and fees payed to the unions are based on minimum wage for that matter.
Raising the minimum wage was nothing more than a political reach around for all the leg work the unions did on the campaign.
It also has the effect of taking 460,000 workers earning the 5.15 minimum and changing it to over 11,000,000 earning 7.25. The measure INCREASES the number of people earning the entry salary because only unions get automatic increases to match the raise in the minimum wage. If the cost of living jumps to match the increase as it has every other time that will mean all those workers will be earning less, not more. And only the unions benefits.
