What is a better First car?
A 1997 black Ford F-150 XLT with 78,000 miles.
A 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with 103,000 Miles.
They both run fine with no apparent problems.
I only have to pay $2,000 for either of them because one is my dads and the other is my cousins.
The F-150 is a v6 with FWD while the Explorer is a v6 with 4WD (there is a switch that has 2WD, 4X4 HIGH, 4X4 LOW).
I am leaning towards the explorer because I live in Mass. and there is alot of snow but I also like the F-150 alot..
explain please..
I would lean toward the Explorer also unless you need the bed of the pickup for any reason. It's also 4 years newer and although it has more mileage you should get a little better gas mileage with the smaller vehicle.
