Wrangler Sahara
Jeep Wrangler Sahara or Rubicon?
I am going to buy a 2007 Wrangler and I need to decide between the Sahara and the Rubicon. This will be an everyday drive vehicle and realistically I will be on-road way more than off-road (giving the edge to the Sahara). BUT, the whole purpose of getting the Jeep is to go off-road which makes the Rubicon more desirable. What should I go with?
I would personally go with the Rubicon. When your spending lots of money wouldnt you like to atleast know You bought the Big Daddy Jeep (top of the line)> That makes guys in other non equiped Jeeps druel. Also if you ever decide to get stupid isnt it nice to know you have lockers and 37:1 crawl ratio? Sahara you will have to at least opt for the traction lok rear diff. Heck I would just make sure you get the dual Top Option and that hopefully one day avail MyGigTm Player(nav radio with 8gig hd space for MP3s... That is just neat. Just make sure you find a dealer who will work with you. dont settle and get what you want.
