Warranty Only
Does apple supply all ipod touches with warranty support? Or is that only if you buy it from an apple store?
I'm getting an ipod touch off craigslist tomorrow, but the person I'm getting it from lost the original receipt. I figure this is okay, though, because the ipod touch is brand new, still factory-sealed, and I figure apple provides a warranty. Am I correct about this? Because I definitely don't want to get this if I'm not covered with a warranty.

Okay, so you're saying that even if I don't have the receipt, apple still covers you with a warranty? So, supposing someone bought one from best buy and then lost the receipt, they could still take it to apple if it had a problem and was within a year since it was bought and get a return/replacement?

they usually are on warranty anyways but it only lasts for one year. it is a limited warranty so make sure to see when the ipod was bought.they only cover manufacturer damage so if you break it that will not be covered. the ipod touch is amazing i have one!!!
