Is it legal to discriminate against a member of a non-protected class on the basis of race, gender, & age?
steriotypes have led us to believe the only victims are blacks, women, and people over 40. Is it legal to discriminate against whites on the basis of race? men on the basis of gender? young people on the basis of age?
Generally speaking, no. But there are ways around things.
You can discriminate on the basis of "experience" that usually translates to age. Like young people are "inexperienced" instead of just young.
You can discriminate against lawyers, and not rent to them, for example, because they tend to be litigious.
