Sunroof Non

Is there a way that I can put a glass non opening sunroof on my 2000 Mercury Cougar?

For those of you who dont know...Mercury cougars from 99 and 00 have a defect in the sunroof because the pieces are made out of plastic and cost like over 1000 to replace.

anyway back to my question...

I really dont want a sunroof anymore after replacing it twice already.

So I was thinking of doing something like the 2009 Scion tC has..its like a non movable glass that u can see through...I mean it comes with a sunroof aswell but behind it it is just a piece of glass...

I like that idea.

is there anyway of removing the sunroof off my Cougar and put a non movable piece of glass that you can see through??

This is a link to a picture of what the scion has....the front glass is movable and the back glass is just there and doesnt open...I want to replace the sunroof parts and put in a glass that doesnt open at all..just sits there.
