PLEASE! Just answer even if you don't know much about cars!?

I posted this yesterday and I guess I either misphrased it or posted it at a bad time. I want something that mixes luxury with performance. I would most likely want AWD, but I can tolerate RWD. I would also prefer to buy, but I am willing to do a lease. I have not done much shopping yet and I have not nearly narrowed my choices enough as a should. Please just work with me even if some of these cars should not be even getting compared. Thanks!

Nice list! Like someone above said, you need to drive them before you speculate any further. A car will talk to you, and as soon as you take an *extended* test drive, you will either feel the connection or not. Of the list, my choice would be the Audi A8. That is one of the best sedans on the planet. One of the safest and quietest cars made, due to the aluminum construction, and Audi offers the best AWD system with their Quattro. The BMW 335 is a GREAT car, but get the RWD version, as their AWD system doesn't work that well. I never consider Japanese cars as I don't think they have a soul, the Cad and SAAB suffer from dodge GM build quality, Mercedes are TOO complicated with hidden software gremlins and I think Volvos are boring. My personal thoughts, but I am a car guy, and not inexperienced.

I do think that leasing is always the way to go, especially if you are like the average owner who keeps a car for about 3 years. You will never be upside down and never be out of warranty...
