Sts Rare

I have this lump on my thigh, it's not hard, and it's only been here for about a month. Is it cancer?

I've been told it's probs a fatty cyst or some weird sized mussel, but i have an anxiety disorder and i need some reassurance. I'm going to the doctors this week. I also know STS is Very Rare (Soft Tissue Sarcoma) - 5,000 males a year. Plus i'm only 17. I'm sure somewhere it's not bad, it's also a little sore but that's most likely caused by me rubbing it so much.

You have a mussel in your thigh??? Everyone else has muscles. It could be a fatty cyst or a lipoma. The chances of a sarcoma are, like you say, very rare. Who on Y!A is able to diagnose it better than your physician???
