Can i super/turbocharge a stock 1998 Dodge Durango 5.2L V8 SLT?

its pretty powerful as is, but my dad and i were wondering if it would even be possible, i have found a few sketchy kits around the internet, that say they work on 97-01 durangos (durangos were first manufactured in 98, lol) so thats why their sketchy, but do i need any upgrades in order to do this? also, alittle off topic, but around how much would it cost to murder out, flat black everything, the same durango?

Don't know of any turbo charger kits, but there are plenty of supercharger kits. You looking at a couple grand or more. The reason most likely for "97" is the kits fit Dakotas too, the restyle in 97 is the platform for the durango. Slap a caravan rear on a dakota...tada!!
Flat black it? couple three bucks a can for spray paint times, oh, 30 cans or so, some masking tape and paper...~Dan
