Salvage Rebuildable
salvage cars?
i bought a rebuildable car on the title, but the true is
the car is a salvage car, there is missing parts and parts that was changed from another car, and now i want to return the car because it is not what it said in the contract when i bought it. and the company don't want the car back...
i need to know what is my rights on that situation ?
please help me, do i need a attorney ?
do i have chance to win this case ?
from what I know, a rebuildable car was a salvage car that was rebuilt by a licensed auto rebuilder (IL law anyway). I'm sure they have standards that have to be upheld to - even if it has parts from another car.
It could very well be missing parts, but unless they were parts that were safety related (seat belts, brakes, etc.), I don't see the taking the car back.
In this day & age you can sue anyone for anything - depending on what the contract said, you may have a valid case. before you retain an attorney or file suit, contact your attorney general. companies don't like attorney general complaints filed against them.
Curious more than anything, I'd like to hear more details on this situation - email me if you want.
