How to unlock rear driver side brake on 2002 Ford Ranger EDGE?

I pulled my E-Brake (while in park) and the rear driver side brake never came loose when I pulled the brake release. The rear passenger brake did though. I don't know how to make the brake pad release, and the ABS light is not on.

Pull your tire off and tap the caliper with a rubber mallet. Check the tension on the e-brake cable also.
If tapping it with a mallet doesn't work, shoot brake cleaner onto it and try to spin it loose. The cleaner will melt any ice if it's frozen onto the rotor. Don't get it on your paint.
Only damage it would have done is rubbing a flat spot on your tire.
