Quad Coupe
From Lemon Law to BBB and no results any suggestions?
I purchased an 05 Saturn Ion Quad Coupe. Car was perfect for me until 7,000 miles. This is when problems started. I have an 8 page letter of repairs and concerns on this vehicle. I sent in all necessary paperwork to Lemon Law and it was sent back stating that it has to be 4 of the SAME ISSUES with the car that CAN NOT be resolved. Next, I have been trying to work w/ BBB for a resolution but feel like I'm once again spinning my wheels. The best answer would be to GET RID OF THIS CAR, but before you say that let me tell you that I had another Saturn b/f this and was told that the engine would soon fall out so I needed to pay either $2,000 to fix it because ultimately repairs on it would keep adding up or trade it in on a new Saturn and roll over the $5,000 I had left to pay for the older Saturn. Who is ultimately there for the consumer? If you buy a camera and it doesn't work right can't you bring it back and get a replacement? This is not so in the car business. Help please!
did you read the consumer information booklet that should have given you the lemon laws in each state.
I had problems with a computer. I bought it back to the place I bought it from. They replaced it with another one. I had problems with that one. Brought it back-would not replace it-over 14 days. They wanted to charge me $100.00 just to look at it and find out what was wrong with it. I had to send it back to the manufacturer.
The only thing I know about the lemon law is it has to be the same problem happening at least 3 times. It also has to be a safety issue (not rattles, the radio does not work, etc)
