Pro Street
What exactly is a pro street car?
I have been into hot rods and rat rods for a few years now, I have been getting more into drag racing lately. In the NMCA and NHRA they have pro street cars. What exactly is a pro street car? Can someone sum up a good definition please?
A pro street car is a car that has a modified rear end to allow the use of extra wide tires. Also known as "tubbed". The rear suspension is usually a 4 link or ladder bar set up. They narrow the rear end housing and stuff huge tires under the back. Those are the basic terms.
