What type of piano should I get?

I am really looking forward to getting a piano but I was wondering which is the best brand of piano and what type of wood I should get. It will also be a decorative piece in our formal living area. Please Help!!

I take piano, and still am. When i was younger i had an electric and keyboard, and they weren't that great. I would get a grand piano, or a baby grand piano. and i think any brand would work. The brand i have is pramberger, it projects the sound well too.
