how would you catch the pokemon the owner tells in trophy garden in pokemon platinum?

when i go to the owner he tells me a rare pokemon like happiny. even when i have nincada and super repel i am not able to catch the pokemon. give me a solution.

First, try using the Poke Radar to see where pokemon are. Second, that pokemon that the mansion owner is talking about doesn't always appear right away.You need to wander a bit in the garden, and eventually you will find that pokemon! +just in case you didn't know, super repel makes the pokemon go away, so stop using it if you are:)
