Owner Excellent
How do get a dog out from under the bed, he bites.?
We got a new dog yesterday. He is very small but full grown. I have no idea what kind he is. The previous owner said that he was excellent but he has already bitten 5 people. He won't let anyone touch him, he just hides under the bed. How to I get him to come out.
You coax him out and when you do, you take him back where he came from, pronto!!!
Why would you take a dog that has already bitten 5 people and I PROMISE you all the bites were out of fear?
Having a dog that will not let anyone touch him is not the ideal animal to have around, this dog has serious issues and needs to be put down...today if not sooner!!!
Do not keep this dog around as he is a liability and you will end up paying for it soon!! Good luck!
ADD: I am really appalled at the ignorance here and the encouragement to keep this dog despite the fact the he is a fear biter and has already bitten 5 people!!!
Are you people so poisoned mentally that you cannot recognize a fear biter that is DANGEROUS?
Ista, what kind of crap is that with the "poor baby, are they real bites, or were they out of fear"?
Are fear bites any less real then a bite in any other drive, do the dog's teeth still go onto your flesh, does it still hurt?
Why do you think the previous owner got rid or him? The problem was that he did not have enough balls to take him to the vet and put the dog out of his misery...that is why he is under the bed, looking for someone to bite...
I cannot believe the level of stupidity that some people have sunk to here and they desperately want to perpetuate it and pass it on to other people!!! Shame on you!!!
ADD: Ista..no need to pity me, thank you though!! Apparently Tony is the only one that has any idea what really needs to happen to dogs like that!
As far as fear biters go, there is NOT a worst kind of dog on the planet...I should not have to live in fear of upsetting some dog in MY house that I feed, vet, take care of, etc!!
ALL fear biters need to be put down, no exceptions. There are too many other dogs out there that can use a good home!
ADD: Tony, thank you my friend, but, your words are falling on deaf ears.
Dave, where have you been, I missed you and your wisdom.
A friend just looked that question and suggested "darting" her out, but, I like your suggestion much better!!!!
