Can the boot cover on a Manual Transmission be changed?
I have a 1997 Geo Prizm with manual 5-speed transmission. The shift stick boot cover is one of those accordion style covers and I think it looks dumb (don't ask me why). I'd like to change the boot cover to a leather "cloth" cover but I'm not sure where to even start, let alone where to buy one. Any suggestions? I'd also like to put a new shift knob on it.
…and where can I get an affordable shift knob with the 5-speed labels?
Sorry nobody makes one for a Geo at all. The best you can do is buy one for a similar car and adapt it to fit. Here are some Leather Shifter Boot sites:
