MM2H program, is it possible to import a kit car to Malaysia?

Hi. I would like to know if it is possible to import a kit car, such as an AC Cobra and assemble it in Malaysia and have it registered?

If you assemble the kit car in Malaysia, you will have problem to get the kit car register in Malaysia.

I would suggest you assemble it in your country of origin & registered it & bring it in to Malaysia.

However, under MM2H, i remember you have to own & registered the car for certain period in the country of your last domicile. If not, you will not be able to apply AP and tax free status. However, this is not applicable to LHD country.

By the way, how much is the AC Cobra kit-car?
