Honda Trade
should i trade my 1997 honda passport for a 2000 mazda protege?
they both have the same amount of miles both have been maintained good its just that my passport is a v6 and too much money for gas since i travel 30 miles a day for school and work
I can tell you that I have a 2000 protege with a little over 150,000 km on it and it is like brand new.
I had a 1994 protege and when I sold it it had 250,000 km on it all it needed was a new head gasket which was fairly cheap.
the 2000 is the 1.6L engine and is good on gas the 1994 was a 1.8L engine and it was also good on gas.
they are not that bad as far as repairs go some things can be expensive but most cars are that was most of what I have done is just regular maintenance stuff oil changes, plugs, ect.
they are a lot of fun to drive.
I don't know much about the Honda Passport but if you need something with better gas mileage the mazda is a great choice.
