Highlander Hybrid
Is Toyota Highlander Hybrid a good SUV?
Can someone tell me if these drive good or not. Is the hybrid better, same or worse than a regular highlander
thanks
What is value of a 2006 toyota highlander?
I meant value of 2006 toyota highlander hybrid thanks
You would probably do better to ask some actual Highlander Hybrid owners, as they probably asked the same questions before buying theirs...

The only way to tell if the hybrid feels better to drive or not is to take one for a test drive and find out for yourself.
as for costs of a used vehicle, usually most people suggest the standard http://www.kbb.com/ for pricing in your area. Other sites, such as edmunds.com and cars.com may also provide you with some used pricing data.
I'll note that there are several police agencies that have been trying out the Highlander Hybrid. They tend to be amazed at the power available from it. (v8 performance out of a v6 engine, great fuel economy and low maintenance...)
(oh, and for the person suggesting the Mercury Mariner Hybrid as being the best fuel economy SUV, you are neglecting the Ford Escape Hybrid and the Mazda Tribute Hybrid, which also get the same fuel economy ratings (sister vehicles).)
and if you weren't already aware, the Toyota Highlander Hybrid has an 8 year/100,000 mile (full, NOT pro-rated) warranty on the entire hybrid system (which includes the hybrid battery). http://www.toyota.com/highlander/warranty.html Just because a warranty is over, doesn't mean that that component will fail. (At the end of the 3 yr/36,000 basic bumper-to-bumper warranty, the bumpers do not fall off; at the end of the 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty, the engine doesn't fall out...)
