High Performance
How do I get time in high performance airplanes?
I have over 100 hours and i recieved my high performance rating with an instructor but nobody's insurance will allow for someone under 25 hours in 182 type to fly. Is flying with an instructor for 25 hours really the only way?
Riddle me this batman...
You have to have 25 hours in type to fly a 182
You can't fly the 182 until you have 25 hours in type
You CAN fly with an instructor if you don't meet the minimums.
Do you see any way around that? If you know someone with a 182, then you can build time that way, otherwise you're flying with an instructor.
If you only have 100 hours, the extra instruction will do you good. It's kind of funny, the more hours you have, the less you think you know. When you get to add a 0 to your total time you'll really understand how much you don't know. And me, I don't know nothin bout nothin!
