Hardtop Rust

Classic Beetle?

I want to buy a hardtop classic beetle (late 60s through 70s), and wanted to know if anyone could tell me about some problem areas to look for rust? Also any general information about buying the car, are there any specifically dedicated websites to the selling of beetles? Thanks.

The rust areas are along the bottom of the doors, along the heater channels ... check the under the very front of the bug just under where the spare tire goes ... check under the battery (under the back seat on the passenger side) and check the floor pans and probably under the fenders.
