Should I buy a Jetta?
2004 Jetta GLS 1.8Turbo. $7500. 78K miles
This car has heated leather seats, sunroof, automatic, upgraded factory stereo, looks great, not a scratch on it, runs good, passed a pre-purchase inspection and has a clean carfax.
Should I buy it?
Car is in the Southern U.S. 1 local owner vehicle. Never seen ice or snow.
The car is not for me, I'm buying it as a Christmas gift.
For a top of the line Jetta the price is actually about $3000 lower than KBB Retail.
yes you should definately buy it- but check it out with a mechanic before you do- 2004 had a few defective models.
Other than that, its safe, fun to drive, luxurious, reliable for the most part, and a lot more attractive and cheaper to insure than its competitors. I have always owned VW's ever since my first GTi, and i can honestly say they're reliable as long as you don't abuse them like you would a toyota
