Which car is the fastest, gas saver & lasting Supra vs GTO vs 350z vs Subaru Wri vs Cobra vs Charger?
On the contrary...if a car HAS a turbo or supercharger, it will use more gas than that same car would without. Forced induction requires more fuel therefore lower MPG.
Examples:
Supra Turbo gets less mileage than the N/A Supra.
Shelby Cobra GT500 gets less mileage than Mustang GT.
Subaru STi gets less mileage than Subaru Impreza and so on.....
That said none of these cars get good mileage, you don't buy them for that. And how long they last depends on how hard they are driven so that is objective as well.
But we can compare them on speed.
Now if you compare these cars "stock-for-stock", meaning no single turbo swaps or turning up the boost or other mods, the list from fastest to slowest in 1/4 mile would be:
Shelby Cobra GT500 - 12.9 sec
Pontiac GTO - 13.0
Subaru WRX STi - 13.0
Toyota Supra Twin Turbo - 13.3
Dodge Charger SRT-8 - 13.5
Nissan 350z - 14.2
Of course Corvette Z06, Viper and Ford GT own them all at 11.5, 11.7 and 11.8 seconds respectively.
