I have a new family owned Janitorial Business and I would like to know how to make a bid?

Also i would like to know How to make a contract on my owne with out sub contractors of a franchise? Anywaone have any answers?

Hi, Stephanie! i clean small offices and love it. I've made a Squidoo lens on starting a cleaning business. It has tons of tips and resources for you. The Link is in my Profile.
To make a bid, you must first discover what it is your potential customer wants cleaned and how often, etc. Also, you will need to do a walk through to judge how the facility looks, the size, and what effort it will take to clean it. Sometimes you must make a bid for an initial deep cleaning (where the facility is very dirty), then another bid for regular upkeep/cleaning. Forms for this and contracts can be found on my lens.
Be sure to call around to many insurance agencies and get quotes for liability insurance before you start getting customers. The price varies a lot from one company to another. You don't need much to start with, but it will protect you from claims (usually false) of damage or theft. Plus, potential clients really like for you to carry it.
