Explorer Xlt
How do I turn off the headlights on a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT?
I drive a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT. I'm guessing that the sensor is going out because, as I'm driving to work every morning, the headlights will flash on and off. It's starting to anger other drivers because they think that I'm flashing my headlights at them. How do I turn the headlights off completely? I know how to turn them on to make them stay on at night, but how do I turn them off?? Please help!!
I would try unplugging the sensor and seeing what happens. With the sensor unplugged, the lights will either stay on or off. If they don't flash but stay in a constant state, replace the sensor.
