How many miles does the average tractor trailer diesel engine have on it?

It will depend on the truck, but unless it is new, most trucks on the road have hundreds of thousands of miles on the engine. An over the road truck with team drivers can be driven 120 hours a week. If they average 50 MPH that is 6000 miles per week, or over 300,000 per year.

Most trucks are not driven that far, but an average of 120,000 miles a year is easily done.
