Which 8 cyinder cargo van gives the best mileage?

Diesel all the way. I had two chevy trucks, same model, one gas, one diesel, and the diesel got no less than 35% better mpg at all times. Seeing that diesel is only about 20-30 cents more than gas, thats less than 10% extra per gallon in the worst case. You do the math, 35%+ mpg for 10% more per gallon. Its a no brainer.
They are much more fun to drive also.
