It depends on what it says in the cruise line brochure, If the brochure says 2 days at sea, then it will take the cruise ship 2 days at near top speed (20 -21 knots). If the brochure says 3 days at sea, then it will be 3 days at a slower speed.
The Queen Mary 2 has a top speed of 30 knots (35mph) so could do 1250 miles in 36 hours.
The Freedom of the Seas has a top speed of 21.6 knots (24.9mph) so could do 1250 miles in 50 hours.
