Condition Reserve
Can I join the Australian army reserve?
I'm 17 and I am thinking of joining the reserve, but I have very mild asthma and I have to wear glasses to see in the distance.
Will I still be able to join? Is there some more flexible part that I can join that doesn't require perfect physical condition?
Asthma -- does it still effect you.. regardless of what extent? If yes, you'd be unlikely to get in.
Eyesight -- depends on the job your looking at -- but theyre a minimum standards across the board. But above that, some have higher standards.
I just realised how unhelpful my answer was. Im not current on all the requirements for entry.. has been a while. So, jst have a look at www.defencejobs.gov.au for the good oil.
